Shop Assistant: This person will commit to each class and support the Refresh Designs class instructor in assisting the families when creating product. No experience is required.
Refresh Designs: Grace Like Rain, in collaboration with other nonprofits, has launched a new program called Refresh Designs. This program is designed to allow nonprofit employees, clients, or volunteers to create with a purpose. Refresh Designs collaborates with talented volunteers who come to our workshop to share their gifts with others. Participants are taught a variety of unique trades in mixed media, including: woodworking, alternative art, jewelry making, card creations and more. This space allows nonprofit staff, volunteers, and clients to come together and enjoy a fun and therapeutic activity. Client participants gain skills to continue developing personal creations, and ultimately sell their products for a profit of their own. Refresh Designs is a creative workspace to be refreshed in and bring joy to yourself and others. For this particular class on May 4, we will be teaching you how to make one of a kind cards that we will sell at our Golf Tournament & Gala.
