2 Corinthians 1: 3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
God is faithful and good and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to help another family get into a home in Denton County. Just 2 days after moving in, they were able to bring their baby brother home from the hospital to a home and begin a new chapter of their lives as a family of 7! God is so good. Through mentorship and love and guidance from volunteers with Grace Like Rain, this mom and her children will be given a new foundation built on God’s love and grace.
One thing I am reminded of quite often is this:
You may be the only Jesus people see.
If we can live our life with that mindset, I think the love and grace of God would spread like wildfire.
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped in ANY way with this ministry. We fully furnished this home and moved in in less than 2 days! One person can’t pull this off- it takes EVERYONE pitching in and we couldn’t be more grateful. Now here’s a video for you to enjoy- tears of joy!
WELCOME HOME, family!
