The Dancing in the Rain Gala was held on October 6th at the Embassy Suites in Denton. It was a wonderful night for our ministry as Executive Director, Michelle Conner, had the opportunity to share her story to a full room with many new faces. “It is our prayer that our small pockets of community will continue to filter in and weave webs into the communities all across this area.” Along with Michelle’s story, the night highlighted a volunteer coach’s story and the testimony of a Mom who is currently working through the program.
The gala was a time where many guests were able to truly connect to the vision and mission of this ministry. We want to simply love God and love people no matter what is going on in our lives. We are all imperfect people that serve a perfect God who made a way for us to be made new in Him– through his son, Jesus Christ. We will continue to love these families through their struggles knowing that we are ALL made in God’s image and He loves us ALL. Please take a moment to watch the video below. Amanda has shared her story with us on how Grace Like Rain has helped her break out of a cycle that was taking a toll on her entire family.
